Field Assessment of the Master’s Program in Educational Research and Evaluation Conducted on December 8–9, 2025

The Master’s Program in Educational Research and Evaluation (S2 PEP) conducted a Field Assessment (Asesmen Lapangan/AL) as part of the accreditation process by the Indonesian Accreditation Board for Teacher Education (LAMDIK) on December 8–9, 2025. The assessment involved two LAMDIK assessors: Prof. Dr. Kartono, M.Si. from Universitas Negeri Semarang and Prof. Dr. Undang Rosidin, M.Pd. from Universitas Lampung. This assessment aimed to evaluate academic quality, governance, quality assurance systems, and the overall feasibility of program implementation. Accreditation serves to ensure that the study program meets national higher education standards while encouraging continuous quality improvement.
This field assessment marked a crucial moment for the program, as the accreditation status of S2 PEP is set to expire in January 2026. Therefore, the results of the assessment play a strategic role in determining the program’s future accreditation status.
Over the two-day assessment, the assessors participated in a series of intensive activities. On the first day, the assessment was officially opened by the leadership of the Graduate School and the study program management, followed by in-depth sessions with the Study Program Management Unit (UPPS), verification of quantitative data, and a review of the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System. The assessors also held discussion sessions with alumni and external stakeholders, followed by meetings with lecturers, educational staff, and students. The first day concluded with an inspection of learning facilities, infrastructure, and supporting resources.
On the second day, the assessors conducted classroom observations to directly examine the academic learning process. The assessment concluded with the delivery of feedback from the assessors to the study program management and unit leadership, as well as the signing of the Field Assessment Official Report.
With the successful completion of this assessment, the Master’s Program in Educational Research and Evaluation hopes to further enhance the quality of its educational implementation. It is expected that the program will once again achieve an “Excellent (Unggul)” accreditation status in the current accreditation cycle.
